The field note

What we brought home.

Mornings in the Kathmandu valley start in cloud. The mist sits low over the rooftops and temple spires until the sun burns through, and for an hour or so the whole city looks like it's being slowly revealed. Cloudy Valley is built to do the same thing in the glass. It's a cloudy gin — rich in the botanical oils that turn it softly opaque when you add tonic or water, the way the valley looks before the sun comes up. Underneath: Himalayan spices, a little warmth, and the calm of those early hours.
